Animator4 Version 1.1.3 released

GNS has releases a new version of Animator4. Version 1.1.3 contains a lot of significant improvements and bug fixes.

New Features / Improvements

• Added support for frequency response calculation from modal results.
• Added variables to command language
  • User and system defined variables
  • String and numeric variables
  • definable on startup on commandline, by command and with GUI
  • systemvariables allow access to modeldata
• Implemented CurveIds for easy access to curves without knowing their names
• Support for subcase selection in curve import
• Direct access from model items to curve including calculation of sum, minimum, maximum, aver- age, etc.
• Specification of default target view for identify history to avoid multiple views from one command
• added support for Tk in Tcl & upgraded to version 8.5.6 extended Tcl-API: access to variables, properties, follow nodes, etc.
• Added support for curves and texts in Database
• improved speed of distance calculations
• accelerated identifying of items accelerated adding/drawing large sets of curves curves
• all settings and options can now be saved as defaults for future sessions on per user basis
• split options dialog into multiple dialogs to improve navigation
• added direct pdf output so that pdfs can be generated without a pdf-printer / ghostscript installed
• added command to access printer from session file (not in batch mode)
• PartDialog is now able work on multiple slots simultaneously.
